Price matters, but a steel building is a 30–50 year asset. Before signing, check four things: engineering capability, factory capacity, quality documentation and export experience.价格很重要，但钢结构建筑是使用 30–50 年的资产。签约前请核查四点：设计能力、工厂产能、质量文件与出口经验。
Engineering: ask whether the supplier designs in-house to your local wind, snow and seismic codes, and whether they will provide calculation reports for permit submission. A supplier who only sells 'standard drawings' will struggle when your site has unusual loads.设计能力：确认供应商是否能按您当地的风、雪、抗震规范自主设计，是否提供用于报审的结构计算书。只卖“标准图”的供应商，遇到特殊荷载的场地就会出问题。
Quality: request mill certificates for the steel, welding procedure specifications and NDT reports, plus current ISO 9001, CE or SGS documentation. Export experience: confirm container loading plans, packing by erection sequence, and whether installation drawings or on-site supervisors are provided.
